  2. from what I've been told, it's easier to buy the electronic stuff there (alarm clocks, hair dryers/straighteners etc) which will save you on packing space and having to get the power converters. And definitely make sure there is deodorant on that list too! :)

  3. Seems like you girls have a great list so far  Haha…it will be fun to pack it all, but I have faith you girls will make it all fit. There are a few other things I’d recommend in bringing or avoiding before the upcoming fly:
    1) It might be easier for you to buy a straightener and hair dryer when you get to Korea. They are everywhere and easy to find. Because I brought my straightener and hair dryer from home and I plugged it into the converter and it fried them. My converter was too powerful and my poor straighener and hair dryer died in minutes.
    2) Some foreigners don’t like the gum here in Korea. Darrell and I don’t mind it, but if you are a gum chewer bring lots of gum from home. Same with toothpaste…again, Darrell and I don’t mind it, but some find it taste like lotion. If you are not into that probably best to bring a bunch from home.
    3) Deodorant does not exist over here! I repeat…it DOES NOT EXIST over here :P Some foreigners have said they have found some at the big stores like Emart, but we could never ever find it. So bring LOTS!!
    4) Adapter plugs you don’t have to worry about bringing with you to Korea. You can get them at any store...it is easier and cheaper to get plug adapters here in Korea. Also, the cable from the power brick to the wall can be easily replaced.
    5) Did you get your Hep B and A vaccinations? Hep A and B vaccinations are needed before you come to Korea. If you are really paranoid, a malaria shot is a good idea too (Darrell and I never got the malaria shot :P and we were fine)
    6) This might be silly, but do you have a favorite pillow? Bring it if you do…it makes the bed feel more like home 
    7) Also, bring lots of photos from home to decorate your place. If you ever invite any Koreans to your place they always love the pictures...plus it makes everything feel more homey.
That is all I can think of at the moment. I hope this is helpful for you girls! You are going to have an amazing time. Darrell and I will take you out for Sum Kup Sal  very awesome food!!!
